Refund Policy
Your statutory rights apply regardless of what this page says.
Nothing here reduces them. If anything below conflicts with the law where you live, the law wins.
Cancelling is not the same as a refund
Board Game Lab Early Access is a yearly subscription. You can cancel it at any time, in one click, with no questions asked — and that is what the offer means: cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access for the rest of the year you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Cancelling on its own does not refund the remaining part of the year. The separate right to get your money back is below.
Your 14-day right to withdraw (EU and EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the European Economic Area, your subscription is with Board Game Lab, our French company (R.C.S. Paris 102 663 358), and you have 14 days from the day you subscribe to withdraw from the contract. You do not need to give a reason, and we do not ask for one.
This right comes from the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). We apply it as written, and we do not ask you to waive it in order to get access straight away.
Because access begins immediately at your request, we may keep an amount proportionate to the period you have already had. In practice that is small: on a €36 yearly subscription, ten days of use is roughly €1, and the rest is returned.
How to withdraw
Email support@boardgamelab.com within 14 days and say you are withdrawing. A plain sentence is enough — you do not have to use a form.
If you would rather use the statutory wording, the model withdrawal form is below. Copy it, fill it in, and send it to the same address.

Outside the EU and EEA
Outside the EU and EEA your subscription is with Board Game Lab Corporation, our Delaware company, and the 14-day statutory right above is an EU/EEA consumer right that does not apply. Write to us anyway — we would rather sort out a purchase you regret than keep money you did not mean to spend.
Business purchases
The statutory withdrawal right applies to consumers. If you bought on behalf of a company, it does not apply — but the cancellation terms above still do.
